^^^  Seriously!?!  I don't even like Final Fantasy and that's one of the most gorgeous things I've ever seen.  If you ever decided to put shell kits like this into production, I'd have to go into hauk to buy me one.

Agreed. Not into FF, but this is ridiculous. Wiggy should be hired to design special edition consoles.

What?! BLASPHEMY!!!! Lol jk.  :P

Even though I owned and played FF1 when I was about 6, (and got my ass obliterated by garland all the time because I had no idea what I was doing) I didn't gain appreciation for Final Fantasy tilll I played 2/4.
I then fell in love when I picked up 3/6 at a garage sale for $5. Which is by far my favorite FF game to this day.

On topic though, that FF system is way badass Wiggy. Great work as usual man!
What are you looking at? You think baby's don't like video games? THEN YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT BABIES!!

Thanks guys.

I guess I need to update this thread more often.  I just realized that those SNES consoles were all built a little over a year ago.

I've actually been contacted on a number of occasions with regards to creating a small run of custom consoles for various devs to use as promo items/giveaways/etc.  There are a few problems every time that this happens.

1) Budget.  It's always tight, and of course they want the sort of thing that I normally do, but for about 1/4 the price.  Which leads to #2...
2) Colorware.  They've been producing custom consoles forever and seem to have a well established reputation within the industry (I've seen them take over at least 2 of the projects that I had worked on at some point).
3) Creative limitations.  With my own business, I can essentially do whatever I want, however I want.  When the big devs reach out, they have a lot of limitations, restrictions, rules, and so on.  It's stifling.

Colorware is honestly the perfect company for that sort of thing.  They offer ONE service (paint), and they have a website which appears extremely corporate, which I'm sure is appealing to the folks in the industry.  I'm willing to bet that they can quote pricing right down to the dime and estimate turnaround to within a day or two.
