I have to say Wiggy, I've been keeping an eye on the facebook posts, you must know I'm excited for your wireless snes controllers, I think I asked you about making those like 2 years ago... Can you give me a heads up on what the price is going to be for those? Held off on Star Fox 2 because it was a bit high for me and I knew I'd want to save for these....  ;)

I'm as pumped as you are for the wireless SNES!

Honestly we have very little idea on price right now. We've got a guy doing the engineering/programming/board designs, but we'll still need to source all the components and figure out what our assembly/production costs will be.

I've always wanted a set of wireless nes/snes/n64 controllers. I would be interested in said product also.

I'm also interested in this.  Are you just looking at SNES, or would this somehow work with multiple Nintendo systems?
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Add me to the list as well! All 4 of my boys LOVE to play the SNES and N64 and I can't tell you how many times they have ripped the console right off the shelf!  :o

I'd like at least 4 of the SNES and 8 of the N64  ;)

This is what I get for not paying attention to Facebook I guess...

I would definitely want a full (standard) set of wireless controllers for whatever you put out, because I know with your stuff it's going to be 1st party quality.

There are already pretty nice third party wireless SNES controllers out there -> A now defunct company called Messiah was making some years ago. They work pretty nice but are very pricey nowadays.

Back in the days they cost 60 bucks.

I'm sure though Wiggys will be much more retail quality but below 100 bucks it will be hard to achieve that.

I've always had a hard time finding third party controllers that I've liked.  That's why I'm looking forward to Wiggy's project.  It would be the same first party SNES controller but without a wire.  Sounds awesome.  I am a little worried about the price though.  I'll just wait and see. :D

Guess I should update this thread more often :)

We plan on having kits and pre-modded controllers. We have a price target, but just not enough info yet to say for sure, so we won't.

I will definitely be buying some of these! (maybe some kits too!) I've always wanted to set my SNES above my TV but hated the idea of wires hanging in the way and could never find a quality controller. I also love the idea of NES and N64 wireless... maybe you could do Genesis too?  ;D

There's a few friends I have, I try and show them a SNES game, an N64 game... and they complain about the controller cable. It's like a mental block they can't get over.

"Oh my gosh, how do you sit so close to the TV" etc. Kids these days...  ::)

Wireless controllers would be awesome, if only because I'd be able to get more people to play the older games.
