Guy took it right down. Said someone else made the cover for for him to sell and he had no idea where the original art came from. Prolly best to find someone else to help out with that in the future...

Dude, I would be so pissed!

It got resolved quickly and without incident.  I'm really just curious where he got the art.  I've only ever posted pretty low res stuff, so I wonder how those covers looked in person.  I can't imagine very good :/

That's just it, I haven't even shared that art and don't plan to.  I created it for products that I sell and want/need to keep it exclusive in order for it to be of any value to me.  Short of scanning one of the sets themselves, there's really no way to get a high-res version, and I'm pretty damned sure that the folks who purchased the sets did no such thing.  I've shared pretty much EVERYTHING else that I've created as far as covers go, even those that have artwork that I created on my own from scratch.  Anything I post here is fair game for everyone to use for personal purposes.

Update: The webstore is up-and-running! (well, for the most part.  It'll be up and down all day while we make some tweaks).  If the store is down when you try and visit, then it'll redirect you to the wordpress blog.  Just check back later if that happens.

Oh i bet i could recreate it but i would NEVER do that as an artist or to you (no worries  ;) ). I doubt they would go this far though. They probably just took the low res pic and just slapped it on there.

EDIT:
I am glad you have a surplus (at the moment) of your inventory. The GBAs look slick. Have you ever thought about doing a GameCube themed GBA?

What are the benefits of the original Gameboy Advance over the SP or DS lite for GBA games? It looks like it would be more ergonomic to me. Are there any other pros/cons? I had an original gameboy and gamegear and haven't had one since until I got a DsiXL for my kid.

Ding ding ding!

Not too many cons.  The screen isn't quite as bright and no internal rechargeable batteries.

The screen is shit to view unless in perfect lighting condition (or Wiggy backlights of course) and internal recharcable battery is not pro in my mind but con, on the road you can simply pop in to any store and buy new batteries.
But yes the ergonomics is way better.

@Wiggy. read my PM and please help. :-*

I fail to see how much more ergonomic the GBA is versus the GBASP, even modded with the backlight. Could someone enlighten me?

Simple. Pick a GBA SP up and play lets say an action game or pretty much anything that is not an RPG that makes your press the buttons very often and repetitively (especially the shoulder buttons).  Now pick up an original GBA and play the same game. Much more comfortable to hold over a long period of time.

If the GBA were to have the same picture quality of the GBASP (like what Wiggy does) then it is a superior product for play. Especially if you are an adult with bigger hands and/or are playing for more than 30min.

I like that it uses double As. I'm leery of non-replaceable charger batteries. I have a kind of expensive wireless headset that I'm a little worried about. It's fine now, but in the future... who knows

You've got to be kidding. Have you ever held both?

I meant the new backlit LCD isn't as bright as it is in the SP

Got your pm, and your other goodie showed up today ;)

Yup, that's a completely valid concern. Right now there are aftermarket replacements, but who knows how long those will be on the market :(
