Never heard of this but sounds cool.  Just checked and it's only a 2 1/2 hour drive for me so I'm strongly considering it.  I need to figure out which one of my friends I can drag with me.

Thanks!  The guy that runs the show really digs it, which makes me happy :)

I would think that NYC, of all places, WOULD have something like that :/

That said, there's a pretty kick-ass retro shop that might be carrying RCG products in the near future...

We can so make a deal!

I only need Bomberman 2 and Ogre Battle at this point :)

I sent you a PM yesterday.

Got it.  I'll get back to ya later today :)

Thanks!  'Twas fun to make.    I had planned to donate a backlight kit, but that presupposes the winner owns a GBA to mod, would be able to mod it on their own, plus there are 2 versions of the GBA, so I'd need to know which version of GBA the winner has in order to get them the correct kit, blah blah blah.  This seemed like a far simpler and cooler prize :)

Do it!  It's a really dorky good time!  It was packed last year, and it sounds like this year is gonna be pretty nutso :D  And despite being packed full, people were still really polite and the vendors/sellers were all really relaxed, even with a dozen people hovering over their tables at any given moment.

I used to drive to the D pretty often.  It's not a bad haul at all.

Blumpkin:

Wiggy, do you do any molding? I'm all about clear consoles and controllers and I'm looking for a clear NES controller right now.

Forte:

hey wiggy shoot me a text whenever you have time so we can discuss my GBA amongst other things ;)
