you forgot the obsession with teenagers in upskirts, and the generic cliche topics.
Yes, because comics are so free of objectifying women and rehashing cliched plots. :)

Oh, wait, nevermind :P

... Now if you'll excuse me, I've got some recently bagged and boarded issues to stick into a longbox. ;)

You mean cliches like saving a princess, or one man with a BFG against the world, or running, jumping, and collecting (insert item) made out of gold in order to complete a quest? :P

She had was was coming to her.

Anyway,
has anyone else watched Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien? The dub is called "Rumbling Hearts".

Rather than some fanciful magic powers/aliens or whatever, this one is grounded in reality with people living normal lives and coping with serious problems. Without getting too spoiloriffic, it's about four friends since highschool who collectively must cope with tragedy.

It's a great discussion anime, as there is no hero or villain, only flawed human beings.

In fact, I've thought of making anime reviews on my blog for a while now.

Oh, and because it's from Japan, the anime is actually based on a hentai pc game. Unlike most though, the plot is actually engaging, and the game was censored and released on a number of consoles, and the anime is based on the mostly censored version of the game. Oh Japan.

LOL, for sure!  I had been awake for about 50 hours straight when I posted that.  I watched this right after posting, then promptly passed out :P

Other than video games?! I use to play flag football and slow pitch softball. But I do manual labor at my job, and it is making me feel old as shit at 25. I'm all like football, WHO HAS TIME FOR THIS AND MY KNEES FEEL LIKE THEY COULD FALL OFF ALREADY! NOOOOO.  >:(

But really, I'm finishing up my business degree and I spend time with my girlfriend and our dog. I like to make music with my friends. I have built up a pretty extensive amount of music since like 2006 with friends and such, but I would only show people like half of it. hah.

Oh yeah and @wiggy. I see you still buy music. Do people think you are crazy? I still buy a decent amount of music and people think I'm crazy.

I sooooo need to learn how to weld. My sister's BF keeps offering to teach me, I just gotta find the time.

Just scored a hand-me down wire feed mig/fluxcore welder from a friend.  Its a small 85 amp hobby box put its better than the nothing i had before and it will run on 120 20amp outlet.  It's tagged dayton which is a grainger house brand.  It was also sold as craftsman and century.  It seems to work ok, but fluxcore is a very messy process.

Definably take up your sister's BF offer.

If you can draw you can weld. You'll kick yourself for not learning earlier.
I learned doing autobody for a short while.
