Actually, and as sad as it sounds, most of my hobbies do seem to revolve around video games. I've had the "collector" mindset for as long as I can remember, and the focus of my collecting has been on video game-related stuff for some time now. Admittedly, I only collect the stuff I really like (series/system-wise), so there's that. Remind me to post pics of my collections sometime; my collection of Rockman.EXE Battle Chips is easily the most impressive thing I've ever collected. But when I'm not ass-deep in video game stuff, I love to read books. I've got a backlog on the books I've got lined up to read almost as deep as my game backlog. Also, although I rarely have the time to do so anymore, I have been known to draw from time-to-time. My strengths are in cartoon-styled illustrations, so that tends to result in a lot of drawings of characters like Mega Man or Sonic. |
