Good luck to you guys!  Sounds like a potentially unpleasant ordeal :-\

I'm in Notheast Ohio. We really don't get any noticeably bad weather as a result of hurricanes. Our weather is shitty enough on most any given day of the year, so I guess our one reprieve is that we don't get pummeled by hurricanes :P

  here is my house from the snow last October I lived in the Burlingtob/Bristol area.  Wires ripped off the house and shit!!!  Since this storm I moved from CT to Seattle.

I live down by Long Island Sound, about 100 miles away from you.
I remember that storm, it was awful. On one night when it was snowing I had a Halloween party to go to, and the drive there was bad. Fallen trees were blocking roads, there was an entire bumper broke off of a car in front of a fallen tree in the road near his house. Though my power did not go out, my friend's did, but it came back a few hours into the party.

Damn you got it lucky!! They canceled halloween for us and shut town the towns , amd no power for 2 weeks.

Our winter generally lasts six months (November-Aprill, and there's this wonderful thing known as "lake effect" snow.

Basically, we have the same amount of sunless days, only with lots of snow instead rain :-\
