Well later today hurricane Sandy is suppose to hit my state, I'm live in high ground so I should not have any flooding but my power might go out.

I had a Halloween party yesterday, I was Link, and I should have not of played the song of storms.

Is any one else in its path?

Superchop:

I am actually, I live in Central NJ and we should get hit by tonight.  A river runs right through the middle of the town and the police department already sent out notices to the flood zones to tell people to evacuate by 6pm tonight cause if not no one will be able to help them once flooding begins.

Where I live I'm close to the river but not close enough yet that they ordered a mandatory evacuation.

Windows are boarded up...the top part was more to please my mom since she was worried about rainfall pooling in between the window and bottom board.

Sand bags against the only door low enough that could allow water to get in if flooding gets bad enough.

Other then that...everything I have is charging (psp, ds, 3ds, phone, camera...the essentials lol) in case the power goes out...and even then we have a generator in the garage ready to run if need be.

They are evacuating other parts of CT, but not where I live. I have nothing boarded up but hopefully I wont need it.

I'm charging my Handhelds, my MP3 player and everything, I do not have a generator though. I can survive with out power, there was a bat storm a few years ago and my power was out for weeks. When it came back on, the fuze box near me blue. It was late and I heard "BEEP "BOOP" BOOOM! and the box was on fire for a bit. The beeps where probably my electronics. I saw my clock display scrambled text for a split second just before the exploitation.

Superchop:

We really only have the generator because if our basement floods we can plug in sump pumps to get rid of the water.  That is of course if the water levels don't get too high.  We had a couple years where the power went out and the basement flooded before we got a generator and it was a lot of repairs and replacing the things that were down there.

Washer/dryer, water heaters, etc etc are all in the basement and at risk of getting ruined by flooding.
