Bye bye. Please close the door when you leave.

I find this incredibly rude to a person who has spent time and effort on the community, which hearing such a rude comment from an Admin is disgraceful.

I think you should think before you post in such a rude and arrogant manner.

....and I should care about your oppinion why?

That is why I really love the Neo-Geo.com forums. There I am one of the absolutely friendliest persons around. ;D

All members opinions should be equal and understood. If you do not understand why you should care about the opinions of your members then you are not qualified to be an admin.

Since when were all people on earth equal? Maybe in the world of little miss Mary Poppins.

By the way you are not my member in any way. I suppose you are too new to know but cover admin is a guy who mainly posts covers and does covers. There is only one supreme ruler in our forums and
you should bow to him.

No Arseen I'm not talking about you. ;)

Okay, here's the thing, segamer. It's obvious that overall, the quality of what you put out is good stuff. But your attitude is what leaves people wanting.

The very first interaction I had with you was to compliment you on your Rockman Mega World custom cover (this post is still on page 1, directly underneath your Genesis covers section). I did, however, mention that the "Mega World" portion of the logo was a little funky. You basically responded to me very defensively, choosing to pay no attention to the fact that I was very positive towards your work, and implied that my opinion on the subject didn't matter because it would look fine once it was printed. Of course, I have no proof, since your response mysteriously disappeared shortly thereafter. This seems to happen frequently with you; I can't be the only one who's noticed.

You rubbed me the wrong way from the very beginning, so ever since then I've chosen to avoid interacting with you. I don't feel like I've missed out on anything. But that doesn't mean I don't respect the work you've done since then. You're obviously pretty damn good at what you do, and I (and many others) commend you for it. But if you're going to give up because of what's happened recently, then maybe that's for the best, since you obviously don't seem to respond to criticism very well.

But ultimately, the choice is yours. Do what you think is best.

I just can't stand people like that sorry. So this is why I made my "rude" reply.

I know. I'm just one of the 4 lowly grunts who handle the waste, albeit the one that holds the golden spoon, but lowly grunt nevertheless. ;D

tiktektak: Personally, I don't care one way or the other. I hold no love for the guy. Yes, he's made some great covers. But I won't give him a "free pass" based on that alone. I just figured that as long as he was hovering around to see what kind of pity posts he gets here, he may as well see what I had to say. Ultimately, as long as he continues to think and act as if he's infallible, then I don't really care what he does. I've got no patience for that.

I don't have personal opinions of anyone here, after all, I don't personally know anyone.  I respect the work of anyone that has a passion to do it - even if I don't personally like it.

However I am always sad to see someone with talent leave the project.  Although I also get tired of hearing people say they came here for the quality, and then bitch if submissions are rejected.  I  myself became exasperated at the speed covers were added, or the nit picking early on.  But I appreciate the time it takes to check covers,  and the fact that I am here in the first place because of the quality,  which is because of the nit picking.

I do agree with segamer on one point,  and that's that the current system doesn't work.   There are too many  submissions for the few admins to sort through.  This discussion is happening in the background, and there may be a solution in hand, but in the mean time, people just need to accept current rules, and produce the best quality covers they can.

At the end of the day, this is a hobby site, and people shouldn't take the comments of others on the site so personally.  If you love doing this you're only hurting yourself by not being part of it.  And that's not clever!

Things are cooking, don't worry.  Admins are discussing it now

Well, i don't know son much of any of you guys but i know one thing, this is a comunity of people doing what every one of us loves, covers, collect games and help others to make their collection, there's no need to make coments of the work of others (both sides, admins and simple people like us :P). A lot of people knew that it's hard to upload and pass a cover in the page (being good work) and deside to upload it as a Post so the covers can be use by other and didn't stay with the creator only, keep doing it that way.

I don't see the need of these discution in eather side. We are all friends (knowing that we have't really known :P)

@Segamer: keep doing covers and like i told you in a post before i will post the covers you made (tecmo baseball) modified by me in this Thread.

@New admins and gurus: congratulation and start doing good work.

@old admins and gurus: keep doing the good job you are making

To the others like me :p : keep doing covers, modifing them and be happy and friendly.

Happy new year 2014, happy eastern, chinese new year to every one ;D :P

Making Turbografx-16 cases with CD Jewel Cases

I've put together a small tutorial on making cover for the Turbografx-16 with CD Jewel Cases.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tavLeiQpqk

When you are done, they should look like the following pictures.

If you don't have the original Hucard Sleeves, you can used trading card sleeves.

Here's the Template.
