I agree with you in that all 3 companies are trying to push digital downloads but I don't think that many people will really adapt well to it. As it stands there really is no "benefit" to downloading a full game compared to buying a tangible copy. Price being one of them and another major one is that a single download will be limited to the gamer tag and most likely not playable anywhere else as compared to an actual disc. Then I can only imagine how well people with monthly caps or slow download speeds will handle d/ling 8+ gigs of data for a single game. Not to say that it can't and won't be implemented...but there have to be a lot of changes in the way it'll be handled to be a success. |

Nobody will in the next generation. They can't. There are just too many customers that won't have ANY access to games if they were to do that, and they obviously don't want to lose customers. |
