Was it going too fast?

There are no brakes on earth that can stop the Wii juggernaut!

Homebrew wii sounds interesting, I still have the Wii store display I need to get a console for, but can get a plain wii for like 40$ these days.
As far as the WiiU, had it since launch, played it like 30 minutes however spent a few hours updating everything, worse than PS3 now with updates on everything

I had the opportunity to get both of our displays at work but tgey didny stay in good condition. Ours were in the front window in direct sunlight for ~6 years. It wss grossly yellow snd falling apart. I tried convincing the manager in the mall to give me his but no dice. His were nice and white too.
One of my local pawn shops had the wii @ $30 for the holidays. They havw a poor return policy though.

On another note, the European launch was on November 30th. Poland, as always, gets a giant, spiky, metal pole up our buttholes by getting a later launch (December 10th) and much higher prices. The basic set will be 1399.99 PLN (~450 USD) and the premium set will be 1699.99 PLN (~540 USD).
I really want to like Nintendo, but the way they treat Poland really isn't helping...
