Some things I'm curious about.
When are they going to sell the GamePad separately? I saw on Wiki 2 are supported.
When transferring Wiiware and VC games from a Wii, does it remove it from the Wii? how is transferring done done?
Can a Classic Controller be used in place of a Pro Controller?
How do Wii games look in 1280p?

My Wii U is doing great. ;D
So far I've heard that they won't be selling the gamepad separately in the US, maybe Japan, don't know about Europe.
When transferring your Wii memory it removes all memory from your Wii onto an SD card which you then insert into your Wii U and it removes all your Wii data and deletes it from the SD card. All your saves, WiiWare and VC games will be moved and gone from your Wii.
Sadly, I don't know if it can or cannot.
A lot better I must say.

To clear some things I know for sure up a bit.
Seperate WiiU controllers will be available mid 2013 the earliest. BigN says they aren't needed anyway as there will be no games supporting a second tablet controller until then.
Afaik the classic controller can only be used for Wii games. Sadly the Pro controller also can only be used for WiiU games. I would have loved to use the pro controller for Wii games....
Please don't assume the U changes anything for Wii games. Nintendo has clearly stated that the U will have NO upscaling capabilities. So the only picture quality gain you get could be because the U finally supports HDMI, if that makes the picture any better. Still all old Wii games run in 480p not 1080p. Do even WiiU games run in FullHD? I thought the will be rather 720p....
Staf:
After you do the transfer, could I have Netflix running on the Wii and the Wii U? Not at the same time, but it would be nice to have a device running in each room rather than just one.

1. Very awesome! I'm having way too much fun with some of these games with my family and friends.
2. Not sure, probably in the next year or two. Playing most of these games, though, there isn't a use or need for a second gamepad, other than maybe FPS games.
3. Yes they are completely removed. It pretty much returns your Wii to the way it was when you got it, plus system updates.
4. As long as Wii Remote is an option, then yes. My friends and I were playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 - One had the gamepad (and later the pro controller), one had Wii Remote + Nunchuk, and the other two were a Classic Controller and Classic Controller Pro. So they all work. This might be on a game-by-game basis though.
5. They look good, though they aren't exactly "upscaled" more than just displaying in 1080p, as far as I know they look the same otherwise. There's plenty of debate on this on the forums and news sites, regarding if it does or not. I can confirm the Wii U does display in full 1080p. Whether the games are 1080p or 720p is up to the developers of each game apparently.

We had someone sell us back a copy of Zombi U at work yesterday. The edges of the discs feel... weirdly smooth. There's no clear way to describe it. I can also confirm what shenske noted in another thread: The cases are almost the same color as the Austin Powers: Goldmember case (we just happened to have one of those that somebody sold us earlier in the day).
... And, of course, the used copy was priced: $59.99, same as a new copy. ::)
