I have a idea for a Mario system,
Red top, with blue bottom and blue stripe and have the power buttons yellow.

As for Zelda, would hold be better than yellow? Yellow does NOT make me think of Zelda.

Indeed, Gold would be better for a Zelda theme than yellow.  Couldn't find decent gold paint, butI think the black and yellow combo will work well with the decals I have for the Zelda themed one.

As far as the Metroid goes... that was really hard to settle on a color for.  I did find something nifty that I think will work well though.

I saw that on the Kylon website, but sadly can't seem to find it anywhere.  Checked Walmart, Hobby Lobby, ACE Hardware, Lowes, & Home Depot.  No one seemed to have it.  The paint sections were fairly well stocked, so I don't know if they were just out and had moved some others over to make the section look filled or if they just plain don't stock it at all.  Gonna make a point to check again.  I did grab some simple black Zelda decals to pair with a gold color if I should happen to find it, so if I do a gold Zelda theme is the next one planned.

I actually really went back and forth on debating whether to do a red and blue Mario theme.  In the end though, I decided against it for the simple fact that most of the mario themed NES paint jobs I see done by others tend to be a red and blue color combo, so I wanted to do something a bit different.  Might do the old tried and true red and blue combo later on, but for now I really like the way the red color pops on it's own.

Do you have a Michael's craft or Art Supply store near you?  That's where I've had the best luck finding it ;)

Thank You...  I probably should have thought of Michaels...  I think there might be one around not too far from us.  I shall have to look into it and and take a gander if there is. Might be a Jo-Ann Fabrics too if I remember correctly couldn't hurt to check there as well.  :)
