Read this news article carefully, and smirk if you understand it.
Translation for non-Finnish speakers:
Levels of Dihydrogen-monoxside still on rise in Saimaa.
Along with heavy metals and sulfides massive ammounts of Dihydrogen-monoxside is leaking to nature from the Talvivaara quarry. Internationally this compound is often shortened DHMO.
If inhaled this compound is extremely dangerous and kills many Finns per year.
Dihydrogen-monoxside has proven espesially dangerous if people are same time exposed to slightly polaric hydrocarbon based solvent (C2H5OH), which is plentyfully found from all Finnish lake areas especially during the warmer times of year.
This year levels of Dihydrogen-monoxside seem to exceed all previous levels in the waters of Vuoksi, especially around the Saimaa area. Finnish Newscenter (STT) reported on thursday that the levels are so high that it limits the usage of lakeside saunas and summer cottages in low laying areas.
Besides damaging human respiratory system Dihydrogen-monoxside also damages buildings.
The reporter considers the situation serious. It has long been known that Dihydrogen-monoxside is only good under the boats.
