I really like singers with low tones.
Most singers today more or less sound like someone crushed their nuts between bricks.

I haven't heard the official number yet, but we got something like 8 or 9 inches of water in about an hour last night. Fortunately, my neighborhood is dry.  I had to drive my wife to work because her van couldn't get through the deep water on some of the roads.  Parts of the school she works at are under water.  I"m at home watching my 2 year old because my mother-in-law couldn't get through the roads to pick him up to watch him.

EDIT:  7.52 inches of water is the official number.

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Wow.  You’ve had it bad this year!  Hope it improves, and you all stay safe!

Thanks.  The cafeteria of her school had 5 inches of water in it, and school starts Wednesday.  Luckily, non of the classrooms had any water, so school can start on schedule, and they might just have to eat somewhere else.

OK, now they are saying 9 inches of water.  It varies on who you ask, but regardless, we got a crap load of water in a very short amount of time.  Most storm drain systems just can't handle that much.

My collection survived but I did get water in my basement / game room.  Mostly just wet carpet thankfully and there shouldn't be any major damage. Everything is just a big mess down there right now though.  Good to hear you didn't get any damage.   It was just a crazy situation all around.

Good to hear that it wasn't anything too serious.  I've only been in the area for 7 years, but everyone I know who has lived there a long time couldn't remember anything ever being that bad.

Yep, I've lived in GC my whole life and have never seen anything like it.
