Eyes on the road doesn't help in this situation.  But yeah, this is part of the reason why I don't ride.  No matter how good of a rider you are, some things can't be avoided.

I was just happy to see that the riders didn't appear to be acting like idiots while they were riding.  The St. Louis area is notorious for motorcycles riders acting like idiots and putting peoples lives at risk.

True, but he could have ridden bit further back or closer to the edge avoiding the blocked view.
