Not really a pick-up, but I got to play the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Beta.

It was nice.  :o

Best Buy had a buy 2 get 1 free deal going on this week so I got a few games.

Red Dead Redemption: GOTY
Dead Island: GOTY
GTA IV Complete

I had originally picked White Knight Chronicles over GTA but then just went back and traded it in.

Dead Island I got for myself but ended up giving it to my brother since he loves zombie games and that I've planned to get him the game regardless.

Hah. To be fair, he's actually a pretty good character. Personally I really enjoyed PaRappa, Sly, and Fat Princess especially surprised me with how she can combo. Sly is so loyal to his original appearances, though PaRappa has a more original moveset involving a microphone grab and a skateboard.

I thought PS All Stars was so clunky. I played as Parappa for one round and won. It just doesn't seem as smooth as Smash. But it was alright.

It's definitely a bit more complex thanks to the fact you can only get "points" by using supers to kill opponents. That, and the stage mash-ups really help to differ it from Smash Bros.

My only complaints are the fact that the PS3 version will most likely require a damn online pass, and the lack of Crash Bandicoot and Cloud Strife(Two iconic characters that helped the PlayStation brand)

well, I dont think the whole rosters are out and no telling what secret unlockable characters there will be. Theres a ton of oversights of what some good characters would be but meh.

heres an article which shows some of the missing characters that we may see and I hope so, no crash/spryo seems pretty dumb to me

Damn. If I had known there was a good sized HM Cow for grabs with pre-order I might have grabbed that one.

I actually picked up 6 games from this awesome vintage game store, called G2K Games out in Waynesboro, VA, this past Saturday on October 19th, that sells Atari stuff to current generation stuff, as well as comics, CD's, DVD's and all sorts of trading card games. That place was fucking gamer heaven!!! I will have to update my game collection photos, when I go back home for the holidays from this vocational school I'm at right now. The games are all CIB and as follows:

Wii
1. No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle ($9.99)
2. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed ($9.99)
3. The Conduit ($14.99)

Gamecube
1. Yu-Gi-Oh! The Falsebound Kingdom ($3.99 - Player's Choice version complete with the Zoa, Metalzoa, and Goblin Fan cards. Though I gave the Goblin Fan card to a friend of mine who wanted it.)

PS1
1. 007: Tommorow Never Dies ($4.99 - Greatest Hits version)
2. Driver ($4.99 - Greatest Hits version)

Grand Total for all these sweet as hell games: $50.25
