I dont understand why they didn't make the option to use a "Classic Controller" with Zelda SS.  For that reason my copy has never been taken out of the case.

Im to lazy, fat and tired after getting home from work to look like a dipshit swinging around a piece of plastic to get Link to do the same friggin thing i could by pushing a button.

Honestly, I've decided that I don't like Skyward Sword.  I hate how you traverse the map (via the stupid sky), the controls piss me off, and the map design is icky IMO.  I have like zero desire to finish it, which makes me really sad :(

Aww, that is sad, Wiggy. The game certainly isn't without its flaws, but there are some really enjoyable and memorable moments and aspects as well. There is definitely a larger learning curve than other Zelda games, though, and some of the best stuff doesn't occur until further into the game. I can understand the complaints, though.

Skyward Sword, much like Donkey Kong Country Returns, is a great game at its core, but it's marred by a terrible(Compared to a traditional) control scheme. At least with Donkey Kong it's just one action that demands motion control...

Not really game related in any way but one of the local Comic shops had a 5)% off almost everything sale. My wife finally decided on something to collect after over 7 years of marriage.  She picked Harley Quinn from Batman.  We decided to see if they had anything to jump start her collection.

   we ended up getting:
Ame-Comi Harley Quinn V.2 PVC Figure          -  $69.99    - $35.
1996 Deluxe Silver Surfer (friends fav hero)  -  $19.99     - $10
7 Harley Quinn Comics                                    -  $5.00 ea  - $2.50ea
Sirens Comic Hardcover (Harley, Ivy, Cat)    -  $19.99     -  $10
Harley Quinn Graphic Novel                            -  $19.99     - $10
FFVII Dirge Cerb Vincents Gun Master Arms   -  $19.99     - $10

Dipped into new car fund...but i am going to replenish what i took out plus some this upcoming Friday.

Though i feel like i spent a lot of cash I also feel like i got AWESOME deals. Usually getting that much geek stuff would cost much more

The game itself just doesn't work for me, waggle stick or not.  I feel like the gameplay is disjointed and that traversing the map is WAY too tedious.  Makes the endless sailing in Wind Waker seem like a pleasure cruise by comparison.  I guess I prefer the Zelda games that don't deviate too far from the original formula.  The 2 DS games, Zelda 2, WW, and now SS are all non-traditional and all of them are at the bottom of my list.

I would tolerate the waggle controls if I really liked it.  I LOVED TP, despite the controls.

What about Majora's Mask, Wiggy? I haven't finished Skyward Sword yet (continually sidetracked by other things), but the central town area and the sidequests where you help people all reminded me (favorably) of Majora's Mask.

Interesting ranking, Wiggy. My own would be a little different, but I also haven't put much thought into it. Off the top of my head, I'm sure I would rank SS higher, bump LA above the Oracle games, and place TP above another beloved Zelda game that is in the same vein.  However, ALTTP would definitely remain #1.

You are definitely not alone with your opinion of Skyward Sword. I love The Legend of Zelda series, Majora's Mask was my favorite of the series, but Skyward Sword just did not cut it for me. I was unhappy with the pacing of the game, the camera and the endless amount of waggle involved in the game. I gave the game a fair chance, I played on and off for a month and decided that I wanted to play other games that were in my pile to catch up on.

My Favorite Zeldas;

Wind Waker
Majora's Mask
Ocarina Of Time(The holy triforce is this, WW, and MM for me)
The Minish Cap
A Link To The Past
Legend of Zelda
Twilight Princess
Skyward Sword
Spirit Tracks
Phantom Hourglass
Link's Awakening
Oracles
Zelda 2
Four Swords Adventures

I just can't get into the Gameboy Zelda games for some reason. Zelda 2 is more hatred from the ridiculous difficulty than it being a bad game. Funnily enough, I find the DS games more forgettable than the GB/C games.
