Local Facebook Group im a member of.

Someone posted them with a comment saying make an offer. I Asked how much they wanted for all. They said $70. I said done, where do you live.

ALL THAT for 70 ?!  :o
Great deal man. It really feels good to find great games at afordable prices. For the first time someone sold me some gamecube games for a reasonable price! Now after months my gamecube will be played once again!
5$ each and the guide as a extra with the games.

WTF, StarFox Assault managed to get Player's Choice AND Best Seller? I mean I know the multiplayer was great, but otherwise... whoa.

Heres what I got today, I kept my $5 limit per game I usually go by. I spend $70 on these games. all CIB.

http://www.mediafire.com/view/?26jaoixr9f7t3rr

So this lady I bought these from just sent me a message on FB.

Ok this is going to sound ridiculous, but I just learned the Chrono Trigger was worth 40.00 and the Supermario RPG is worth 35... so I supremely ripped myself off. Lol. It's a done deal so I'm not expecting anything, but would you be willing to give me chrono trigger back so I can try to make the money that it's worth? I looked up their values but I didn't catch that for either of them

Trying to make some extra cash to buy baby stuff. That's why I sold the games. Weak excuse, I know. But if you were just looking into getting back into playing them... hopefully you wouldn't mind letting me have that game back.

While she said it very nicely, I think she should have done her homework better because she states that she looked up their values but didnt catch them (even though those prices i think are loose). That alone make me just want to say sorry I really wanted to keep them.

What would you guys do? I hate being a dick to people and im trying to think of a way i can help her out, Maybe just give her 30-40 more?

I hate to sound like a dick myself. But I would keep them. If you buy them from a garage sale and are headed back to your car and the seller ran up to you and said that. I would say no. I've already bought them.

My opinion. I can be cruel sometimes. But thats the point of going to garage sales/buying used anyway. to get them on the cheap.

If anything I would maybe offer her $10 maybe $20, but not the game back.
What are you looking at? You think baby's don't like video games? THEN YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT BABIES!!

Kinda of a tricky situation you got there. On the one hand, you don't want to be an arse and totally ignore the lady or flat out say 'No" to her request even though it's well within your right to do so as she defintiely should have done her research better.  But, at the same time it's not your fault that she sold something for less than it's worth so why shouldn't you just keep it as is?

Personally, if it were me, I'd go the already suggested route and offer her another $20 (or somewhere around there) if you can afford to do so.  But I'd do so with the clear, but polite, understanding that it's that or the deal stands as is.  She's having a bit of seller's remorse after finding out what things are really worth once it's too late (has happened to me before so I know the feeling).  It'd be nice of you to make such an offer, but in no way is it required.

Very very nice find!!!!!!  ;D

I'm with palmer on this one though. People should research their stuff and then sell. I mean come on. Everyone wants to make a bargain somtimes!

Except if she is a real friend of yours, then I would consider not being too hard on her.

Her fault for not doing homework before selling things. Personally I'd just tell her sorry but a deals a deal.

I would probably throw her 30 more - you still got a great bargain.  However, if you wouldn't have bought at the increased price, and cant afford to pay more - your conscience should be clear in telling her that.

Yea, I told her I will give her and extra $20.

I feel like a deals a deal, but I hate being a dick to people especially since its through my personal facebook, even if i took the "tough luck" approach I would not be surprised if she tried to bash me on the local ads I am on, which could prevent me from getting future items.

So I guess offering an extra $20 is my way of covering myself for the future.

Nice find By the way SnesGuy, always sweet finding Nes stuff at garage sales. Especially when its the top loader and games for that price.

You made the right choice. And besides, even after the extra $20, you're saving as much as hundreds of dollars considering they're all CIB.

Also, nice job to the guy that found a NES Top Loader for cheap.
