I'm surprised it hasn't come up yet. What is everyone's thoughts on the console? I personally think the Neo Geo X Gold bundle looks pretty sweet. But I'm concerned about software. Are they just going to re-release old Neo Geo games, or are they going to develop all new titles for the system? Personally, I think new titles are a must.

Just another Dingoo/Caanoo IMO.  If the quality is there, then I may pick one up.  They are just too pricey IMO.

Is there any good rpg's/adventure games on the Neo Geo?

The Neo Geo X looks pretty sweet. Don't think I'll be picking one up at the high price though.

The WORST idea ever!!!  The NEO GEO X by Tommo!  At best ......40 year old people that remember the Neo Geo system playing a handheld....This idea is worse than selling the Neo Geo Pocket online.....!!!!

sounds like its all digital content  it can run games off of sd memory cards  1-8 g it looks like , the cards are cheap enough so you can store each game on an sd card and make covers if you choose lol , instant physical copy  : )

I think the Gold package looks the best. It comes with a docking station that resembles an AES and can output to your TV, as well as an AES-style arcade stick. If the success of this system means brand new Neo Geo games based on the hardware we're all familiar with, I'm down. But if they're going to just re-release games that have already been re-re-re-re-re-re-released, count me out.

I highly doubt we'll see new NG games. More likey that it'll just become yet another portable that gets hacked and everyone will just run EMUs on it :(
