I want to attempt this. (gotta do something with my junk genesis dupes, eh?)

So I need to find an older computer with a socket-ed bios. Any Ideas? All the ones I have are soldered, and I don't trust myself to install a socket.
( 7x9 chip, 63 small connections. Figure de-solder and solder. That's a minimum of 126 places to screw up)

If I could figure out what computers had them, I could see if I can find an old mother board on eBay or something.

Flash the ROM. It's a flash programmer. A cheap one, but it works nonetheless.
