| SnesGuy:
I want to attempt this. (gotta do something with my junk genesis dupes, eh?) http://www.sega-16.com/forum/showthread.php?14886-Just-built-my-first-Genesis-reproduction-cartridge%28still-missing-the-case%29 So I need to find an older computer with a socket-ed bios. Any Ideas? All the ones I have are soldered, and I don't trust myself to install a socket. ( 7x9 chip, 63 small connections. Figure de-solder and solder. That's a minimum of 126 places to screw up) If I could figure out what computers had them, I could see if I can find an old mother board on eBay or something. |

Get this and a little breadboard at RadioShack. http://www.ebay.com/itm/USBASP-ISP-Programmer-Adapter-10-Pin-Cable-For-ATMega8-AVRDude-CAN-PWM-Series-/120961485405?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1c29ddca5d |

And what do you do with that, wiggy? |
| wiggy:
Flash the ROM. It's a flash programmer. A cheap one, but it works nonetheless. |
