35 reasons that the Wii isn't just for little kids, bratty teens or the elderly

Damn wiggy. i guess I did what I hate other people doing, without even releasing it.

Because most of the people's different opinions have a backhanded compliment/snide remark in it on this thread somewhere and it pisses me off when people do that. I don't mind other peoples opinions at all, but when someone puts a backhanded compliment/snide remark in their reply, that's going out of line right there. Here's an example of what I mean: You: "How was your day?", Friend: "Good, you?", You: " Why the hell would I care how your days was?".

Ugh mixed messages!!!
--- Quote from: Ace Master Cire on September 28, 2012, 07:50:08 PM ---So, video games from 1993 (start of the 5th generation of consoles)-1972 (the dawn of video games), never had ratings, much less M-ratings. This is where your statement isn't entirely true. Have a nice day. ;D

The "have a nice day" was a slap in the face how I read it. It wasn't a "Hey Shoothim! Have a nice day!". It was "here is my comment to something that I just want to sound smart on because you said "every game" and I know what you mean but I just want to sound like an idiot, and oh yeah, have a nice day. So you don't like people placing backhanded compliment/snide remark in their reply, but you do it every time you post. Eevveerryy ttiimmee. Don't say that I giving you a snide comment, I am replying to your dick of the week comment: "Have a nice day. ;D"
--- Quote ---Also, how the deuce are M-rated games on any system childish, or puerile, as Retro Deckades puts it?

Fact is a system is a system. The system is "seen" as a childish system. IMO, childish system = a joke system. A system that doesn't really has no impact if a game is released. With 17,000 Brain Quests or Pokemon variations, there is not very many good games for it. THERE ARE SOME GOOD GAMES, BUT NOT ENOUGH TO MAKE ME CARE ABOUT IT. Now on the other hand, little kids can't get enough of it. I would rather be playing something that gives me achievements/trophies.
Will I ever hack a PS3? Maybe in 10 years or so.
Will I ever hack a Wii?: Soft-modded it the first day I bought it.
PS3 I know I will like the games I play. Wii, not so much. There are too many variations and I feel I have to try the games out first. From the 150+ games on my HDD, I only have ~12 Wii games... If i like the game, I will pay the money to support the developers, but if the game is crap, and it usually is... then Hell no would I be paying $50 for something I won't ever touch again.
You are stating that the system is a childish system, which is incorrect. It's a serious system, with really childish games. They could have done really well with it, but it's Nintendo. The system was hacked within months, and they still haven't cared to patch it. Sony on the other hand, anytime there is a mention of a potential exploit, they do a system update. And Xbox? Microsoft bans your gamer-tag. It's not that the system is a childish system, but the company sure does try to keep up with the big boys.

I'm sure you don't man. i kinda jump to conclusions sometimes though, and I am a bit of a hypocrite sometimes. I swear I'm becoming more like my dad: who has anger problems like me, every day. Sometimes even the slightest wrong word or phrase will set me off; kinda how it does with my dad.

At least you're cognizant of it, which means you can change (if you want to).

Trust me wiggy, I do not want to end up like my dad. I'm trying to change, but there's just to much estrogen (3 sister, and my mom) in the house and not enough testosterone (me and my dad).
