Comes down to this question.  What system would you feel safer playing as a kid that your parents would leave you alone to play.  This is an honest question.  By the time Playstation 1 came out, I was already 10, and I am sure most were many of you (if not older).  I am talking about 5 years old (if you were to let your children play video games).  Which system, honestly.  Me?  Oh yeah, I would completely only let them play Xbox 360 and pwn creepers in Minecraft, completely safe game.

Lol, no - there's nothing valuable in here.

And to be perfectly clear, ALL game systems are for kids. Every last one. There's still value for adults, but notice how all games are marketed towards those 17 and under. So no, you're not any more "grown up" for playing Xbox 360, PS3, or Wii. You can still enjoy them for fun, but don't pretend any one of those makes you any more  or less of an adult.

EDIT: All I really mean to say here is enjoy what you enjoy and don't let demographic get in the way of letting you enjoy a good game. There's no need to get in a massive cock fight on the internet because all of you guys are worried about what game system "big boys" should play...

I don't really care about it being locked/deleted, but I would like to make a point.  Threads are discussions and by definition are open to different opinions.  Deleting (or requesting to delete) a thread because people disagree with you seems pretty childish to me.

There wasn't any actual discussion going on, it was just one big pissing contest. The cover project is better that this overall - if you guys want to argue about which system big boys are supposed to play, then go over to IGN or Gamefaqs or something. This thread is just filled with pointless crap from all sides of the argument...

I'd cast my vote for deletion - we're better than this...

This thread really did get derailed but honestly I didn't feel like it was really about a console war.  Most everybody agreed that saying one system was only for so and so crowd was a pointless argument.

It didn't really serve it's intended purpose and besides a couple games that I didn't really know existed and now am curious about it was a bit pointless.

Although I don't think it's really necessary to delete it...locking it and letting it fall into the abyss would do just fine.  In the final post by a mod there could be an explanation as to why it's being closed.  Deleting a thread just gets rid of it temporarily and eventually another just like it will pop up.
