PS2 Greatest Hits Games Box Idea
Ace Master Cire:
I found some red DVD cases lying around the house, (I took the boxes off of a Ringling Brothers DVD and a Cheaper by the Dozen Dozen DVD if anyone wants know. I, of course exchanged them with some empty DVD cases we had in our hutch in our living room, so my family wouldn't notice.) and I thought this would be a great idea for my PS2 Greatest Hits games. I intially got the idea from what PS3 does with their Greatest Hits games, with the red blu-ray cases. I thought if it works for PS3, why not PS2 as well? Let me know what you guys think of this little project I'm doing. 2 games red-boxed, 10 more to go. I actually plan on having 8 more Greatest Hits games, to total up to an even 20, but I don't own those 8 I'm looking for as of now, but hopefully I will soon.. ;D
***I have these 2 put in the red DVD cases for now, because of the uniformity of it, and the fact that they're part of a series. I may change it up and put it on any of my other 10 Greatest Hits games. That is, if any of you would like to see how it looks on other Greatest Hits titles, but it's up to you guys if you want to see them. ;D***

Looks pretty cool! I usually avoid the PS2 Greatest hits because I really hate the red label, but that makes it look a lot better. They'll look great on the shelf all together when you get some more of them cased up.

Good idea, however i fekin HATE greatest hits, players choice, selects, you name it. Nothing wrong with the product I just dislike looking at collection and seeing different spine labels lol.
Much like how I have my older PS3 titles separate from newer PS3 titles due to spine change. Especially annoying for like Assassins creed 1- old label , 2, brotherhood and revelations - new label
Ace Master Cire:
I really don't see why some people hate Nintendo Selects, Player's Choice, Greatest Hits and Platinum Hits (though I'm not into Xbox in the slightest), labels. I think they make the games look distinct and stand out, as well as showing that they're obviously good games to get the re-released label on them.
***I'm planning on doing this for my PSP games. Red UMD cases for my Greatest Hits UMD's and clear UMD cases for my non-Greatest Hits games. It's too bad they don't make red PSP boxes.***
***I'm also considering doing this for my PS1 Greatest Hits games. They're green jewel cases and would go great with the Greatest Hits PS1 games I'm getting. Seeing as how sony released their PS1 Greatest Hits games in green and not red like the newer Greatest Hits games. ***

That's definitely true man. The only one I really and truly dislike is the Nintendo Selects because they frame the original box art in that nasty red border. :P Otherwise I'm on the same page - the fact that they even get released is the mark of a really good game.
BTW I love that green CD case, those PS1 greatest hits will look pretty cool in that.
