What do you do for a living?

I'm an accountant for a software company.

After like 10 years of school I finally got my CGA (Certified General Accountant) - it's a Canadian designation similar to a CPA in the USA.  It really doesn't mean all that much - basically get paid more for doing the same type of work.  Once I finished I had free time again and bit more disposable income so I got back into collecting and found out about this site.

My actual job title is Senior Accountant, however I am moving to a new job at the same company helping with the implementation of a new finance and billing system.

It sounds boring but it's actually quite fulfilling once you understand things and come up with the correct numbers.  I'm at the point now where I do more analysis as opposed to the grunt work so it's been getting more interesting as I advance in it.

I'd also like to try teaching at a College or University someday.  I've recently started buying and selling video games and that's been lots of fun as well.  I also started taking apart NES systems and cleaning the pins and reselling those as well.  I'd like to learn how to do some more complex fixes and mods as I just find it all so interesting.  I'd love to eventually do something video game related and have that become my primary career someday.

Currently unemployed, but to pass the time while searching for a job I'm a volunteer computer training instructor.

I drive around on a Forklift most of the day for a German Owned American branch of a very old Puzzle and Game company.

I used to drive a forklift at The Ottawa Citizen (local newspaper) - it was one of the funnest jobs I've ever had.
