MediaShelving + Kickstarter = NES Cases?
Azarkhel:
Those of us here wouldnt really be the primary market, it'd be the new collectors plus all those at racketboy, digitalpress and Nintendoage that have thus far avoided UGCs due to the loose fit/extra modding work required.

yeah, those 16 year old's at nintendo age with nice allowances think true collecting is all about throwing money (and jacking up prices by paying more than full retail) so the thought of physically doing any work to preserve their collection when they can just buy CIB stuff, crazy
.... sorry, rant off, just lost evo for snes for teh 18219823 time due to it being stupidly priced

I wouldnt want to re-buy and do that all over again just because it would fit slightly better. That said, if this would have been done years ago a ton of people would have bought in, missed opportunity
Just my 2 cents

Yeah, I'm definitely excited to see what Seymor is going to announce on 10/13, but I don't really see myself switching my collection over to the new cases. To be sure, having manual clips would be sweet and it would mean I wouldn't have to modify any more UGCs, but I'm literally about halfway done with enough cases for an entire USA licensed set (just modded my 320th case this evening, in fact). Plus, he mentioned his cases are ever-so-slightly wider than a UGC and since I already print out my labels a bit smaller than everyone else (I make it work with 8.5x11" paper) I think I've already tailor-made my collection to work with UGCs. The thought of junking all these cases I've made...I dunno. Plus, I'm not sure how badly I'd want to put my manuals in those holder clips - they seem prone to separating from the staples if you don't treat them right and I'd worry too much about removing them from and putting them into the clips and damaging the binding.
I guess the flip side of it is, however, that even though I'm halfway done, I've still got that many more to go. ;D Decisions, decisions...
