I would like to know what all of your worst gaming experiences were.

I'd have to say mine was Megaman DOS.

My worst experiences weren't with how bad games actually were but how I went about playing them.  2 come to mind right away lol

Final Fantasy 7 - I got it for the pc since I didn't have a playstation and at the time my pc was a used old one from this lady my mom knew.  Needless to say the pc didn't meet the system requirements.  So...I'm sure many people know what happens then...the game runs really slow and choppy.  Well...I couldn't afford a new pc so I did what any gamer would...I played the hell out of the game!  Took me twice as long but I still did it.

Actually...I managed to get a newer pc eventually...So I really only played up until Red XIII's hometown before the game actually became playable lol

Crusader No Remorse - Again it was on my older pc and just my luck the game was a DOS only game.  I couldn't run it through Win95 or 98 (at least not that I knew of) and the problem with that is that I didn't have the drivers to get sound working with DOS.  So again...what did I do?  I played the hell out of that game with no sound at all lol

I think I eventually tried to play Crusader No Regret on a newer pc with sound in DOS but I forget why I didn't get into the sequel.

Enter the Matrix on Gamecube. Worst game ever. Buggy, very short (even though it's on two discs!), very easy, and just a very crappy experience overall.

I lost it a while ago, and the only reason I regret losing it is for the double disc case... :P
I'm looking for vol. 2, 4, and 5 of the Orchestral Game Music Concert CDs. I'll pay well if it's authentic and doesn't skip. :)

I have that game and it isn't buggy and choppy, nor is it the worst game ever. You must of got a really scratched disc is all.

Brand new copy. I just hated it - it's only my opinion.  :-\

Mine would have to be Silver Surfer on NES. Rented that thing so many times and never got far at all. Recently I discovered it has cheat codes you enter on a cheat menu. To access said menu you need to use controller 2...... Literally, this is 25+ years later and I'm still mad about wasting all that time when I could have used invincibility back when i was 8.

If youve not played it, go find it. It'll piss you off too. I found a copy about a year ago for 99c at a local used games store. If you can get it for cheap... its fun to torment your friends with.

I'll have to find a copy 'cause that's my type of fun.  ;D

My family and I play Decathalon on Atari to see who pays for dinner. Now THAT game is infuriating.

Hmm, I can't really say.  I tend to know what I'm in for before I buy, even in the pre-webernets days.

Quest 64 was pretty bad, but I did pick it up knowing good and well that it was.

These days pretty much any NES 3rd party platformer, the sadistic level design is too much for my alcohol softened reflexes.

Trojan on the NES comes to mind - that game was missing... something.  Or everything.

I know there's games that I hate more than that one, but I must have blocked them all out, because I can't remember any of them!

well, if we are discussing worst game I can remember playing - would honestly be the first game I ever owned. My parents had an atari but I am talking about my first. When I was a wee one and got my first nintendo (1988) I was a huge ghostbusters fan and my mom trying to be cool figured it only made sense to get me ghostbusters on the NES. I seriously was super pissed that I finally got my own nintendo and it was the only game I had for it to be complete and utter suck. It's also why the AVGN episode about it makes me laugh because its exactly what I was thinking at the time.

Now if its my worst memory playing video games, and it still stings to this day, would be me getting banned on my Everquest 1 account, twice lol. SOOOOO much time I put into that and things I didnt do instead playing that game
