I am new here but I must say this is a great site. I stumbled upon the site looking for cases for my N64 games and I got all the info I needed. You guys have been a great help!!!!

Here is a link to my Room, I just took a some quick pictures. It is a tiny room, but I'll be buying a new house shortly so I am hoping to have an entire basement full of fun soon. For the time being I am trying to keep as much stuff as I can hidden away. It is hard though in such a small room. Let me know what you guys think. This is just a handful of stuff, I have a ton more PS1, PS2 and Xbox stuff in the closet that I need to get orgainzed but I am running out of room.

Welcome to the project Adam.

That's a nice collection you got there. Used the given room pretty well, too. I'm sure when you finished with your new basement it'll look awesome.

Say, looking at your movies I saw that the spines from the Halloween DVDs resemble the mask and that your A Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday 13th DVDs resemble the Freddy Vs Jason artwork. Are these the retail DVDs or did you create the spines yourself? I think they look awesome. Not enough to rebuy my Nightmare and Friday boxsets but I only own Halloween I+II so getting these DVDs is very tempting :)

Again, impressive collection!

The freddy vs jason splines were not done by me, they are on a dvd cover site I am a member of. http://www.generetic.org/ It is a pay site but they have some really great scanned covers and some really awesome custom covers as well.

I did do the spiderman, batman, starwars, x-men and a few other splines myself though.

I did all my own Saturn and Sega CD cases before I found this site. I made my own Template up and scanned all my original cases. Once I found this site I realized I did far more work then I needed too, but oh well. I really enjoy makeing covers and things so i t was still worth it. I had a Nintendo 64 case template almost set up too, until I found you guys. (grin)

Thanks I actually just bought a house and I am working on my new basement. Here are some pictures, some are sub par taken with the phone:

I am trying to keep everything hidden away for this room for a cleaner movie theater look. To do this, all of my AV components and newer system with wireless controllers (Wii, 360, PS3, PS2, Xbox) are all installed in the closet of the room hidden away. I had to figure something out for the older systems though since the controllers won't reach from the closet to the couch. my solution was a cabinet I modified to store my gaming systems. I have a NES, SNES, N64, Jaguar, Saturn, Genesis/Sega CD and a  3do in the cabinet. I have all the power and av cables routed inside the cabinet so no wires can be seen. I have 2 4x system selector boxes mounted behind the center speaker to handle system selection. In the bottom of the AV closet I have mounted shelves to hold my games. I have also bought a dresser to store my DVD's, I took a Ikea dresser and beefed up the drawers a little. I have a long way to go still, I have more wires to hide, decorating to do. I still have to build a screen for my projector and a riser for the stadium seating, but I am getting there. Let me know what you think.

Old System Cabinet:

I love the cabinet that your old systems are in. One day I'll have a media room to tuck all my "crap" into.

Sweet set-up!  I'm looking into doing the same thing, I hope mine turns out as nice as yours.

That's a nice set up ya got there! Are you going with an old school sloped floor or stadium style seating?

What did you use for the shelves for your games. Is it wood you painted?  The black looks cool.
