Zelda Link to a Past (SNES) carts only go for around $20-$40 But for some this particular auction for JUST the cart exceeds $110.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Legend-Zelda-Link-Past-SNES-RARE-/230850034808?pt=Video_Games_Games&hash=item35bfbbfc78

Does anyone know why maybe?

That does look weird.

It's not even like 2 people were fighting over it.

Someone put in an insane high bid and someone else did too?

There's got to be a BIN listing for way cheaper than that.

I was bidding on a copy of Gun Nac and the auction went insane.  I was able to find a BIN for cheaper.

Even if there is something rare about it, like some crazy misprint or something, you wouldn't be able to tell from the crappy picture. The last bidder who bid $111 has zero feedback. I would say that the two last bids were from the same person with two accounts.

well the seller has 171 feedback, and the two people buying it have 0 and like 24, so I dont think they are going to pay on it if they win

  • It's dangerous to go alone...
The only thing I can think of is that it has the early cart style that actually locked the cartridge into the system and it looks to be in pretty dang good shape for the original run, but that should by no means make that game $111.....not even close.
I'm looking for vol. 2, 4, and 5 of the Orchestral Game Music Concert CDs. I'll pay well if it's authentic and doesn't skip. :)

It kind of sounds like the guy has people he knows bidding to increase the price. Kind of a good strategy if he can get some collector to bid too. Lol! I don't see anything special about it.
