hello, by now i havent printed anything i've downloaded from this site, pretty much because i have no color printer and the local printing shops i know are either too expensive or only specialized in making copies, not prints. some days ago i got a panflet of a place very close to my school specialized on this matter. it says that they have a lot of types of papers that can be used on posters, thesis, panflets, etc.
i want to go there to just check out if its worth it and the price. how much have you payed for your prints? how much is good and how much is expensive? thank you

What are they asking?  It seems like a lot of folks around here pay about a buck a cover.

Would you mind kicking him in the nuts. >:(

Besides it's cheaper in long run to buy your own printer.

Square in the motherfarkin' marbles, for sure!

I don't know exactly what I pay because I'd have to do a pretty significant amount of math just to sort through paper cost, ink cost, initial cost of the printer, etc.

IMO, it's WAY better to print at home.  The morons at the copy stores that a lot of folks here employ can barely do their jobs, let alone print your covers correctly.  I've seen SO many posts where people can't get their local Kinko's/Copy Max/Staples to print these damned things at the right scale and on the correct paper.  IF I had to deal with that kind of crap just to print a cover, then I'd probably be writing this post from prison.

For regular paper: $0.59-$0.69 a cover.

For glossy paper: $1.59-$1.69 a cover.
