I am discussing with someone on craigslist about purchasing one that said my experience with them goes no further than actually playing them in arcades when I was younger.

Does anyone own one or know much about them? All i know is that they are capable of having 10 games installed on them, (this one currently has 6 but all reallllly good games)

Everything seems in good working order, has keys etc for case / coin op

I believe you play base on a timer and you can play any of the games loaded on the arcade.. also check some prices on ebay some of the games boards are rare and go for a good chunk of money...

I know the timer can be switched on/off, the guy selling it says everything works and he sent me some pics today and it looks in pretty good condition

games are - Super Mario Brothers 2, Gauntlet, Tyson's Punch Out, Double Dragon, Teenage Mutant Ninga Turtles, and Contra. (which I would say are some of the best options for that system)

he is asking 400$  OBO

I would buy. I paid 300 for one of my NEO GEO MVS arcade 2-slot with 6 games, and a bunch of other parts for it... $400 is good considering all the games included are worth at least half of the asking price if not more.. try offering $300 and go with cash in hand...
