so fellow TCP'ers, i have a couple of things in the pipeline, which are so far off from being finished i dont even want to mention what exactly they are!, but at the end of the violet vixen project i wont have anything to work on for a while, here's your chance to see a project come to life!,

maybe you've had a crazy idea and arent sure you could pull it off, or you saw a cool photo online and wondered if it could really be done, maybe one of my other projects has got you thinking about something similar, let me know...inspire me!

(not saying it'll happen immediatly, or at all, but i will try)

That's actually a really simple mod. 3 solder points, a few cheap parts, and you're done.

I vote for NES/SNES/N64 in a single housing, and that it can't be something really simple like a PC case. Throw it into something fun :)

The Tristar is cool, but OEM hardware is always the best. You know that ;)

My buddy is trying to stuff a micro into an extra cell phone tha he has so he can sneak and play it at work without anyone really noticing :) Something like that could be really cool, sorta like your SP in a GB phat.

SHIT!, didnt know the tristar was a real product!, thats why i frowned a little when you said 'OEM hardware', i was planning to put NES/SNES/N64 mobo's in an xbox shell,

maybe i'll call mine the Triforce then!

there was a pretty cool mod where a guy crammed a SNES Mini into a classic gameboy(here)

how about a verticle game gear?
(sorta like this ?)

take a bunch of Hard drives, put them in a RAID0 (or 10 if you want to be safe), connect the entire array to the PS3s internal HDD slot for maximum powa

Liquid cool a Shuttle PC (Small form factor computer)

Liquid cool an Xbox 360 or PS3.

Make a mineral oil PC

Port EXULT to the Wii.

That seems cool...but what about the extra buttons?  The GameBoy doesn't have enough buttons to use as a SNES controller and he didn't add any...

One thing I really would like to have is consolized Game Gear.

I mean Game Gear inside console shell (Master System 2 perhaps?) with the link port, could be connected to TV with RGB Scart, and would use Master System or Mega Drive controllers.

I'd buy 2 of them.

In all fairness, I would like an AV adapter for the Nintendo DS (DS, Lite, i, iXL) that sends one of the screens to the TV and you can switch the screen at will...like if you are playing FF3...you can put the touch screen on the TV and play it like that.

sadly all a little out of my league!, (apart from maybe the mineral oil PC), im "working on" (read that as "been thinking about this for aaaaaages") some kind of PC mod for the man-cave, so i can play some of the emulators/downloaded games on the sofa for maximum comfort!

apparently he has some kind of break-out box which adds controller ports and A/V connection, if i had the skills to do it i think id add the buttons on...

thats something im working on, sadly not to sell, just for myself, although i could probably make one for you for about £100...

apparently there was something like that for the original DS, rare as hens teeth now though...
again waaay out of my league
but that doesnt mean dont stop posting ideas, you might spark something and cause me to go off in a compleatly different direction!

I don't think it's so much for actually playing. That looks like a "look what I can do" project more than anything.
