Hi guys,
I am currently playing Growlanser IV: Wayfarer of Time on the PSP.
I am a huge RPG fan but it is my first try in the Growlanser Saga. I have been playing the game for about 15 hours now and I really enjoy it (Story, character, fights even if a bit slow).
Here is my question to Growlanser addicts (and others) : Are all the games in the saga as good as this one ? (if this one is the worst, then it is even better ;D)
Thanks.

Sorry, I don't have any personal experience with the series except teasing my former roommate who would play it. I would always call it Gross-dangler. Seems like a good series though.

I played a couple Growlanser games on the PS2, they were pretty good. I was just never a fan of consoles PS2 and later.
I specifically had Growlanser Generations. It has 2 separate Growlanser games.
Growlanser II: The Sense of Justice
Growlanser: The Dual Darkness

Growlanser IV is hailed as pretty much the highlight of the series. I don't know if that's accurate or not, since I've not had a chance to play it just yet, but yeah.
Looking at the screenshots and videos though, it really doesn't seem to play much different from the other titles, so I assume it's just the ability selection/story that make it herald that title. As far as other ones go, you can get English language versions of Growlanser II and III on PS2 in the Growlansers Generations 2-disc set, and Growlanser: Heritage of War (Growlanser V) as it's own release.
Otherwise, the first title was PS1, Japan only, and had a different PSP version come out a few years back, Japan only again. Growlanser VI is on the PS2, Japan only, and is currently the last title in the series.
