So I bought a 3DS XL and the lower screen scratched my upper screen. I let it slide since you can't notice it while you play. About 2 weeks later I get 2 stuck pixels that i can't for the life of me fix. I return it get a new one and half the back cover is coming off the new one I just opened. I'm extremely annoyed as Best Buy is way outta my way. I'm just gonna get my money back and wait till they fix all these crap issues and produce better colors. I wanna buy a Dsi XL instead now. Anyone know where I can get one for a good price or wanna sell me one that's in good condition? Thanks

The blue and black one looks great. I kinda don't wanna pay full prince since I still have a Dsi and all.....maybe I can catch one on a sale somewhere. The 3DS XL was so great other than the flaws  :-\

That blows :(

eBay really has the best prices on new DSi XLs based on what I can see, and I've been hunting for a while now.

Once again Nintendo proves that since the GBC, it's pointless to buy the first version of their handheld because they're just going to milk it with bigger versions, different colors, etc. Original Game Boy lasted like 7 years, now one of their damned handhelds doesn't even last 6 months without being "upgraded".

  • It's dangerous to go alone...
Are the scratches visible when the system is on, or only when it's off and you're shining a light on it? (just curious)
I'm looking for vol. 2, 4, and 5 of the Orchestral Game Music Concert CDs. I'll pay well if it's authentic and doesn't skip. :)

Honestly...I was actually dissappointed with the 3ds XL.  I expected them to incorporate the 2nd analog stick into it since a couple 3ds games out use it.  So far i've only seen the 2nd analog attachment for the standard 3ds but not the XL.  I wouldn't put it past Nintendo to release a new 3ds next year with the 2nd analog stick already incorporated into the system without the need for the attachment.

That being said however, I bought a 3ds around Xmas time but only because it was the special edition Zelda one.

or only when it's off and you're shining a light on it?...This exactly lol. It did bother me knowing it was there though, I'm weird like that. I really think the scratches could have got worse though. I put on a screen protector after even though I really didnt want too, but them damn scratches. Such a headache :-\
