Can anyone stateside please tell me if the power adapter that comes with this version of the retro duo: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SNES-NES-System-Retro-Duo-2-in-1-Console-Black-Red-NEW-/280815480264?pt=Video_Games&hash=item4161e82dc8 is 110/220v self switching? or does it have an internal power unit which would require me to get a step down transofrmer? And if it's actually any good! ;D |

The original power adapter that comes with it can handle 90-230 volts. Power input to the console is 5 volts. And it's Ok, exept best video output is svhs, where as the real US SNES can do RGB. Controllers are shit, but real SNES controllers work perfect with this. |

Most modern AC adapters are designed to be happy with with 120 or 220 :) |

Never had a NES, was always a master system guy - now to buy up some classic nes games (and yes, i'll probably end up with a real nes too at some point) - main reason for this is i'm currently fed up with non working EU snes import adaptors - so this should at least allow me to play MOST of my SFC games. Just need somone to release a converted US SNES in an attractive shell, and i'd be all set...........i wonder.............LOL And thanks for confirming Arseen - do you have one of these? |
