--- Quote from: WolfAlmighty on September 03, 2012, 03:43:51 AM ---Ooh sweet...can't wait to get a Solar Jetman cover! Lumberjack was going to do one but I don't believe he's gotten around to it yet. There are many covers I personally need (I only collect NES), but of those there are a handful that are fairly common/cheap games that I'm honestly surprised we don't have covers for yet. I don't imagine they'd run you a lot of money, certainly nothing like a Mario's Time Machine would. Of these I'll list my top 10. If you manage to procure any of these boxes I'd be more than happy to put together covers for them if you need any help. Adventures of Tom Sawyer (If we get these two we'll have all the games Adventures of Dino Riki that start with the word 'Adventure' covered ;D ) Shadowgate - Can't believe we don't have the US version of this cover, since I thought it was a very popular title, would love to have a Shadowgate cover Athena Alpha Mission Captain America and the Avengers Captain Planet and the Planeteers Defender II Monster Party Dragon Power --- End quote --- Ah, nice work, WolfAlmighty. I had actually missed this post while I was browsing earlier on my phone. I suppose another suggestion, based on your list, could be starting with the common titles that are missing covers and running through them alphabetically. On the plus side, it would be easier to keep track of, but the downside would be that some of the covers people really desire may take some time to get to. I'm not sure what BGC would prefer, either, as I am really not sure if there is more sales potential going with a common game which many people own, or a less-common one that many collector's might want a case for. Anywho, I'll throw out five common titles that I wouldn't mind seeing covers for, and one uncommon one. Athena (Seconding WolfAlmighty's request!) Casino Kid Cybernoid Stinger Trog! ...and as already mentioned, Mighty Final Fight. |

I'll be updating the OP as requests come in, but, I need to get some coffee in me right now. :) For the record, I've made a cover for both Rolling Thunder and Solar Jetman, but, they are both in the "usable" category - part of why I want to get my hand on those first. OCD, and all that. If anyone wants to use them as placeholders until I get the boxes, just let me know. As for my intentions, it has nothing to do with sales for my site at all, other than what someone might request. This is about giving back to you guys, and also the fact that you folks are in the know as to what people here want the most. It'll be slow going, as I genuinely don't have a lot of money to throw around, but, if we work together, hopefully we can get a great system going. :) I can't thank you enough for the positive reception to this idea. It means a lot to me. |

As I pick up new games I try to get CIB of the ones we don't have covers for (even though I'll just have to re-sell all the boxes later anyway :P ) so I can make covers for them. So for me, it's just a matter of casing the ones that I have uncased, and going on from there. Also, Lumberjack actually did a Casino Kid cover, though I'm not sure why he never uploaded it: https://www.box.com/s/2173fdc82374ed1c077f |
