I vote 4, as it's directed by Finnish director Renny Harlin, and I had the movie poster on my door for years.

You missed "Wes Craven's New Nightmare".

Still part of the original series with Robert Englund. Also the Darkest one in my opinion.

I voted for the 1st one, but it's a close call between the 1st and 3rd for me.

The first was an incredible film for me growing up - kinda got me into the whole slasher film genre.  The 2nd was a huge disappointment.  I was pretty much over it by the time i saw the 4th though.
