Since the only flea market near me is essentially a latino hoedown, someone find me a copy of evo for SNES  ;D. I will pay good$ just not the retarded price it has more than double to over the past few months.

Ugh, like last snes game I am after, its fekin retarded

Tell me about it.  You might want to just bite the bullet and buy it.  It's not getting any cheaper.  I just won a copy on eBay and wasn't cheap but not too crazy.  A reseller near me had it at 90 bucks and I thought that was crazy.  Turns out that was a good price compared to what it's going for now.

I have bid on it sooo many times, I thought it was nuts when it was going for 60 and my max bids were like 50 or so, now that would be a steal. I'm torn, because I dont know if by some miracle the market will dip and it will get reasonable again, but in the mean time its annoying me just not having it.

There's no money to be made flipping it, especially if you're thinking about trying to do so on eBay/amazon.

I would just keep it.

Well, my flipping plans are more "take it by my local game shop that deals in retro and new stuff and see how much they'll give me in credit"

I do have both a 3DS and a DS Lite, so this DSiXL is redundancy on top of redundancy.

I'll admit, though, I've got a few unnecessary game systems around, especially in the handheld category.... I've got multiple original "gray brick" Gameboys, which are all kind of pointless since I have a Gameboy Color... which is kind of pointless since I own a Gamboy Advance... Both the original and SP. I also have a GB Micro which, of course, can't run the pre-Advance games, but is kind of unnecessary in and of itself.

I could honestly part with all of those except the SP and the 3DS without any real problems. (...Except I'd have to use a Gameshark to reorient Kirby's Tilt 'n Tumble :P). But I keep those other handhelds around because of nostalgia and sentimentality... and because they aren't worth much, unlike this DSiXL.

I've also got two Gamegears (one non-functional and one semi-functional)... and I bought a PS1 loooong after I had a PS2 because it was $3 at a garage sale.

... Back to the topic at hand. I wasn't impressed with the DSiXL initially (this is the first one I've spent any real time with), as its menus just made the display look poorly pixelated... But after playing Thor (a sprite-based beat 'em up by Wayforward) on it a while, I am having some second thought about trading it in.

It'll all come to how much they offer me for it.

Sort of. I'd suggest giving it a go via an emulator before making a decision either way.

I have a PSOne... which is pointless when I have two PS2s and a PS3 on top of that. I also have a Game Boy Micro when I already have an SP and a DS Lite.

Micro is probaly the only system that's for "Collective purposes", while PSOne is more a case of I can't find a good offer. :/

Just picked up 2 NES systems with power adaper and RF switch for each, 2 contollers, zapper and Super Mario 1,2,3 carts.  One of the consoles works perfect like brand new.  I can barely get the games out because it's so new.  They don't rattle or anything and it works every time.

The second console blinks so I'm going to take it apart and clean the connectors.

Genesis Model 2 with 2 controllers, 2 power cords (they had an extra one for some reason), Sonic 2 and Columns III (CIB) cart only: NHLPA Hockey '93 (2 copies), Mercs, NBA Action '95, Ex Mutants

SNES console only yellowed on top but working

Astal for Sega Saturn Complete!! I've wanted this one for a while.

Total was $40.  Only plan on keeping Astal the rest will be resold.

If it makes you feel any better, the green, blue, red, pink, and anniversary units are not yet in my possession :P   Got a few coming from Europe, 1 from Australia, and another on it's way from a few states over ;D

Oh, and I'm waiting on the custom faceplate for the orange one still.

So I basically have a silver, black, and orange minus the faceplate on hand.

Also, picked up a 27" Trinitron for 20 bucks.  Craigslist find.  I actually have the exact same TV in my bedroom, but I think I'm gonna grab a cheap LCD and swap it out since the wife is the only one who ever uses it, and even then it's only to put a movie on to fall asleep to.  So, my plan is dual 27" setup in the dork cave for light gun games.  Don't know if that sort of thing works or not, but I'm gonna buy a few RCA splitters and have them back-to-back and see if I can't get some sweet 2 player action going on the classic consoles.

Anyone here ever try something like that?  If so, any luck, or am I wasting my time?

My Dad scored me the Darksiders Poster things from around the XBOX 360 displays in Wal-Mart. The full sized LARGE (Almost door size), the small under the TV 16" tall poster and the 3 border panels.

Only found a spot for a border panel right now....my wife suggested I put the poster up in the bedroom....heh...she suggested it...I might have to take her up on it as I am pretty low on wall space.

That is still pretty sweet. Hope you didn't break the bank them. I'm having the hardest time getting ahold of a micro in AR. I refuse to pay online prices for one :/

Be Patient and check Ebay frequently and you can get a good deal... I seen then for as low as $40.
