NFS was a gamefly purchase, originally about $9 but with a $5 coupon it took down the price a lot.  Rygar is a really tough game to find out on store shelves and while browsing gamestop they had a copy CIB sitting there and I couldn't pass it up.
Damn, Rygar: Battle of Argus and Need For Speed: The Run (I really wish they made the Wii version as good as the PS3 version. Because I had the Wii version awhile back and it was a completely different game compared to the PS3 version.) are 2 of the games I'm looking for!!! Also nice addition with Hitman 2: Silent Assassin; I got all 3 in the PS2 Trilogy for my last birthday, CIB. :P

I snagged up the 3d/Blu-Ray/Dvd/Digital/Digital Soundtrack copy as well, but from Target...came with a "Bonus" 5th disc of more extra footage. $20 I was expecting a minimum of $25

:( really?  Lol, I should've saved my gift certificates then.

@ace - actually the ps3 version has a huge glitch that nearly killed the game for me lol.  I actually had to go on youtube to look at a video for a QTE sequence since the game only showed a blank box where the button should be :\  Game was really short too (beat in a couple of hours) and the online is more about wrecking everyone else then racing -_-  To be honest I would've gotten the xbox version instead but the ps3 copy was the only one left.

As for the ps2 games...I may or I may not play them.  I got them cause they've always interested me and I may eventually play them...but for now they'll just sit in the cases.

AO007, why are you always telling people what they should and shouldn't keep?  I mean, they bought it.  I think they can make up their own minds about that sort of thing.

Shhh, shhh, SHHH! Quiet, Wiggy! If you've noticed, he only seems to recommend that people keep the more well known titles. If he continues thinking this way, that means more gems for the rest of us!

Also found an AGS-101 at a thrift store for 8 bucks.  Now I finally have a backlit model.

That's the same one I found earlier this month! I have to say, having a backlit handheld to play original game boy games totally reignited my appreciation of them. I burned through Operation C, Nemesis, Castlevania II: Belmont's Revenge, and Mega Man V about a week ago, all thanks to the AGS-101.

I also happened to pick up Kirby's Dream Collection: Special Edition the other day, after much hemming and hawing, and I know it's been said before, but I must reiterate how totally worth it that collection really is. About three minutes after opening it up, I knew I had made the right choice.

Dammit, everyone is picking that thing up. I might just have to suck it up a buy a copy before they're all gone :(

I jst need to get a Wii again, I sold mine a long time ago unfortunatly. I want a red one but cant find one. My mom found one at a garage sale with a bunch of extras for $50 bucks but I was to sick to go to town to pick it up.
What are you looking at? You think baby's don't like video games? THEN YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT BABIES!!

Why not just wait for the Wii U? Then, you can buy the Red Wii when everyone is selling theirs!

True, OR if you plan on buying a Wii U, it'll play Wii games, too.

Not all gems are great ones, mind you. I'm just helping people be more conservative with their game choices, is all.

conservative?  You would tell me to sell 2170/2242 games I own then.  Some people 'collect' them.

Point is, I don't think that folks need (or want) the help.  Again, I'm pretty sure that most of us have a good handle on what we like, don't like, want to buy, and don't want to buy.

It's like saying "Don't buy a double cheeseburger, those suck.  Get the chicken tenders because I think they're great!".  See what I'm driving at?

I hate to debate semantics, but what the hell, I'll do it anyway! Isn't the definition of a gem "something that is prized for its beauty or perfection"? Ergo, wouldn't all gems, by definition, be considered great, or at least contain some element of greatness?

And yes, I know that this really ends up going nowhere.

That is a good idea, though I don't think i will find that good of a deal again.
I'm not interested in the Wii U. I have a feeling that it will drop in price like the 3DS did because they wont get good sales or good release games.

Agreed, I don't really like people telling me what to buy unless I ask an opinion, The gameboy advance is My favorite handheld system, and I like to collect just about every game I can/like. Well, there is some I'm not really into but would collect them anyway.

Well there are "rough gems", out there.
