I printed out the first one and (probably) won't be printing out another, but if you really, really wanted a UPC on the game, I'd say put the UPC from the Zapper onto it.  Just a thought.

Using Babelfish, I was able to translate the text into German.  Here you go: Mit Training Crossbow der Verbindung erarbeiten Sie das Wii Zapper in keiner Zeit!

thanks twilightwolf,

to any of the Germans/Austrians out there, is this conjugated correctly?

Sorry but the translation is horrible..... Babelfish and it's likes are not very compotent when it comes to grammatic... ;D

A good translation would be:

Mit Links Crossbow Training werden sie den Wii Zapper in kürzester Zeit perfekt beherrschen!

Oh, well, I tried, at least. If I'd known that Babelfish was terrible at that, I wouldn't have used it.

I agree. I think the Zapper UPC would be the way to go on this cover.

Knowing them, they probably WON'T learn, and they probably WILL put it in a cardboard sleeve.

It seems that Nintendo is putting all games included with accessories/consoles into cardboard sleeves.  I think that for some strange reason, Nintendo thinks that they cannot afford to put every game into a case.  Or maybe Nintendo thinks that the included games are not worthy of a case because they are more like mini games than complete games.  Any way you think of it, it still isn't a good excuse.

Thank God for the Cover Project! ;D

Again, I encourage everyone to send Nintendo well thought out e-mails expressing your displeasure with the cardboard sleeves....

I appreciate your taking the time to share your comments with us regarding the cardboard sleeve that was used to package Link's Crossbow Training.  Rest assured that your e-mail will be forwarded on to the appropriate department for further review.

Link's Crossbow Training

Below is a Link to download

shitty cardboard cases no more!  ;D

tell me what you think

PNG, ~9MB

shenske, great work on the cover.  I made a few minor adjustments if anyone is interested.

The modifications totaled as follows...

- The side bar had an artifact under "Link's" which I removed along with a few other nits that I don't remember the location of.

- The back text was a scan of Super Mario Galaxy... which is fine however:

          * The background of that scan was not white, but rather gray that noticeably stuck out when I viewed it on screen. I fixed that .

          * I replaced the UPC of SMG with that of the "Wii Zapper + Link's Crossbow Training" along with a [Not for Resale] overlay. That way if anyone likes to scan there covers into a database it should work. I didn't bother changing the text next to the UPC. (as it still reads "RVL P RMGE USZ" which is SMG and not "RVL R RZPE USZ".... but, well the work to change that wasn't worth it )

- Added a 3 px white boarder followed by a 3 px light gray boarder to make it easier to cut.

Printed it on silk paper at OfficeMax.  Turned out a little on the dark side, but overall the clarity of the print is much better than what I can get out of my HP 712c.  If you hold the case up to SMG you'll see that the Wii Logo is a notably darker gray than that found on the SMG box. I don't know if that the result of the Office Max printing equipment or software, or if the original needs a gamma boost. The quality is excellent though. (Note there is NO correction to the gamma in the PNG file linked above)

That's how you introduce yourself. Nice job.

??  Not sure if that was directed at me.... I'll note that the cover I linked to is NOT meant to be a submission to the site, but rather a submission to the original author and the users of this forum.  Feedback on the original work if you will.

Anyways, my first cover here was that of a CD cover to Wii Sports, and was thinking of doing the same for Link's Crossbow Training if anyone is interested.

Some new info for what it's worth....  I noted some issues with color and brightness when printing - well, turns out that the Office Max clerk did some sort of "auto correct" before processing the job (without even asking!). I'm not sure what kind of effects that had on the brightness/color.
