Request: Hi-Res Super Mario All-Stars SNES-NTSC-Retail

Pages: (1/4) > >>

Pikmin Overlord:

Hey all,

Going through some more Super NES covers, and found that this old Super Mario All Stars retail cover is looking quite long in the tooth -- it's quite low res and blurry. Can anyone out there could provide a new box scan for this, so that it is available if someone is able to work on it?

Thanks!

That cover is...well, terrible.  I started touching it up, but then I realized it was a waste of time.  We really need a new scan.

I was really surprised to see that such a popular game didn't have a hi-res scan / cover.  If no one bites - I do have a touched-up version from this file, but it still isn't great.  It is better though.

I have one.  it's beat up too (I think), but my girlfriend found it for $1.99.... that ass....

Ya, the black alone is uneven throughout, the screenshots are quite blurry, and the name on the spine is s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d out. It did the trick for a while, but I think it's time we fixed those things. It would probably be easiest to acquire a new scan.

Sweet, ShootimNow. If you get some time, perhaps you could try scanning and uploading it? I knew that there have to be members out there with this box!

I agree completely. There's quite a few boxes of some of the more popular SNES games have very low res covers. I'm at work right this second so I can't go through and pick out a handful but I can think of Yoshis Island,  Breath of Fire, Tetris Attack, and FF3 a right off the top of my head. I've been holding off printing those along with a few more hoping to either get my hands on some good scans or for one of our many talented artists to throw one together.
