Ooooh yep, now I see - you're thinking of the Wind Temple and Light temple that were supposed to be in Ocarina originally right?

I think one was supposed to be Ice Temple, so maybe larger version of the cave in the adult world Zora domain?

Yep, you're correct. The Ice Temple and Light Temple were originally planned as a full dungeon. The Ice Temple was scrapped in favor of the Water Temple - those elements then became the Ice Cavern. The Wind Temple is actually the original version of the Forest Temple before they changed it. The fans in the Shadow Temple are supposedly left over from the Wind Temple as well.
Not much info on what became of that Light Temple though...
