You Z target them??  I just shoot them out of the sky with my slingshot or arrows when they're still far away!  Saves me the trouble of dealing with them up close and personal!

No but seriously, flying enemies aren't so bad to deal with...unless they're on fire.  I usually just have my shield up if i see them coming towards me, wait till they hit the shield then Z target and attack.

I beat the Water Temple. The boss was very boring. You stand in a corner and Z Target , Use the hook shot to get the red thing over to you and hit him a few times, but 1/2 of the time it was jumping about in the water out of your reach.

I got Epona too. Took me 3 tries. First 2 were very close, but the last one I was very far in front of him.

Off to the Shadow temple!

Got the Biggoron sward!

Woooo!

On one of my many playthroughs, I got it as early as possible and used it exclusively for the remainder of the game (except where the master sword was required by the game). Made things really interesting.  ;D
I'm looking for vol. 2, 4, and 5 of the Orchestral Game Music Concert CDs. I'll pay well if it's authentic and doesn't skip. :)

After I learned how to get it, in all my playthroughs afterwords I would always get the sword before fighting Phantom ganon in the Forrest temple.  You just need to play far enough in the temple to get the now and arrow.

I also gotta say...I really like this thread and hearing about your progress...it does remind me of my first time playing it and brings back a lot of fond memories of the game...except the water temple haha I've always hated water levels in any game

Me too. Now, snow levels, on the other hand, are right up my alley!

I beat the Shadow temple and I got all the construction workers out of jail and I went to the shadow temple and there was one BIG design flaw in there. I got all the way there and entered the temple, A sign said to come back as a kid. So while standing in the temple I used the warp song to go to the Temple Of Time. and Run back to the Valley as a kid. I cant get past the gate so I run around a bit trying to figure out what to do and I get board so I looked it up online and it turns out you had to leave the temple to trigger a cut scene to get Sheik to give you the transport song. I would have never thought of that, and I saw no reason to leave the temple when I was there the first time, They should have had Sheik give it to you inside or when you first get there from the desert.

I'm going to be getting Ocarina of Time/Master Quest in the mail, sometime next week. A nice lady on Amazon was selling it CIB for a little over $25; which is pretty much my Amazon gift card budget, but I nicely asked her to lower it to just under $25, so I could buy it. She did that, and even took it off the listing so no one but me would be buy it. Now that was really nice of her! I really hope Ocarina of Time/Master Quest is as good as the N64 version I used to have.

You have to admit that $24.99 on Amazon.com is a pretty good deal for Ocarina of Time/Master Quest for Gamecube complete in box. ;D

From what I played, the Gamecube version is a pretty faithful port of the later version(Sans the blood and muslim chanting, you know). Think it had a few aesthetic differences as well.

yeah, that's the typical example of bad design. i dont know why but i wasnt bothered by this. actually, i didnt notice, which is a little bit weird since i'm very picky on gmes

I beat ALL the temples. I'll try to defeat Ganon tomorrow. My favorite was the Shadow temple. I have decided to not get everything, kinda a waist of time sense I'm going to be done with the game soon. I will post what I have gotten tomorrow.

Some more moments I liked.

When the fight Nabooru starts, the camera goes over to her, she gets off the chair and stands up ad the boss music starts playing. The music stops after a second or two, she snaps, a axe spawns in her hand, and the music continues and the battle starts.
I started cracking up up at this, I'm not sure why, but I like it.

Traveling through the castle town at night as a kid:
PUPPIES! PUPPIES EVERYWHERE! YAAAY!
Traveling through the castle town at night as a adult:
RAPIST ZOMBIES! RAPIST ZOMBIES ARE EVERYWHERE! GAHH!

The spirit temple bosses intro speech reminded me of Team Rocket.

Gerudos did not die from being stabbed, shot, or blown up, they "Got Knocked Out" in the "Metal Gear Zelda" stealth sections, which were also fun.

The Gerudo training ground was fun.

Stuff I did not like:

The Gerudo training ground was pointless.

Another useless puzzle in the spirit temple. There was a door with bars and a Triforce on the ground in front of it. You stand on the triforce and play Zelda's Lullaby, THE DOOR OPENS!!!!!1

The boss sucked, It's first stage was annoying mostly due to the camera and them going out of your sight. If you use Z, you sometimes locked on to them, but you needed to not be locked on, so you could move your shield. you and the second stage was boring. You stood in one place with your Z target on and your shield up as she fired stuff at you, which your shield absorbs and fires back. Then when she is down you wail on her with your sward.

Honestly...bosses in that game really weren't that hard :\  I think the toughest time I had with a boss was Phantom Ganon.

Although, after you fight Ganon I'd love to hear what you thought of the fight.

But yeah, I loved the part with Nabooru also.  In such a "tense" moment they managed to break it with humor...something I never would've expected lol.

The only problem I had with Phantom Ganon was figuring out what to do. I never thought of hitting his magic attack back at him with my sward, but when I got it I loved it. It was the most epic game of tennis ever. EVER.

The most difficult in my opinion was Dark Link. Mostly due to the huge health bar and how he blocks most of your attacks, but is kinda easy when you find a good method of hitting him.

The bosses so far were kinda disappointing for the most part, they are ether stupid easy or annoying, most being easy. They have cool appearances but most are run around in a circle and wait for them to become vulnerable.

I got a big smile when I realized the Fire boss was a big game of whack-a-mole, but lost it when I found out you can dodge his attacks by running around in a circle or standing in place.

Same with the shadow? temple one, cool intro with him banging on the giant bongo stage, but you just Z target him and shoot him with arrows, and hit him with your sward when he says so.

I'll continue this post with Majora's Mask and Link To The Past and the others when get to them.
Zelda games I currently own:
Link To The Past
Oracal Of Seasons
Ocarina Of Time
Majora's Mask
Wind Waker
Twilight Princess (NGC)
Link's Crossbow Training

I have not beaten any of them. I stared most of them, but I am going to re-start when I get to playing them. :/

Current Games I am focusing on beating:
Ocarina Of Time
Illusion Of Gaia
Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga
Banjo Kazzoie
