Yeah, this news saddened me a bit. I've actually been a subscriber since 1993. In the earlier years (before the internet really took off), it was full of great information. I always waited eagerly for the next issue to land in my mailbox, where I promptly read through it. Despite the information being far less relevant, I actually still do the same thing today. There's just something about sitting down and flipping through the pages of that magazine that are enjoyable and comforting, and it's about to come to an end. I'm actually currently looking to complete my collection. I have about 20 issues or so left to go. If anyone has any of the older issues (between #7 and #40) that they are thinking of selling or getting rid of, let me know! |

I magazines too :( There's a stack of EGMs that I often go back and read. Some with good old Sushi X even. Kotaku is great, but the misinformation, typos, and annoying comments from every moron under the sun makes it feel more like a personal blog than anything :/ |
