The reason I'm asking is because I don't own a printer and am encountering difficulty using places like staples and print shops who refuse to print these covers without a copyright release. What I'd like to know is anyone would be willing to accept something like paypal gifts for printing and cutting the labels and having them shipped to me. That way I can compensate for ink used and time etc...

Anyone interested?

I wouldn't mind helping you out, but I use kinda pricey paper.  I can buy less pricey stuff for ya if you're willing to pay for it.

I use card stock from paper-papers.com, it was like $26 shipped which worked out to be $0.11 for each sheet of paper. Plus I don't have a color laser only black and white so i go to the local post net store, they charge me $0.39 each to print but that's still cheaper than spending several hundred dollars of a good laser, also my collection is less than 100 games.

I can print things at school, but their ink is always low.  Amazing printer, but I would have to purchase the ink for it

Funny, my local Staples has never given me any kind of copyright issues...but they are generally incompetent so I have moved over to Fedex Office (formerly known as Kinko's).  They also have never given me any copyright hassles (even chatted me up about N64 games), and seem more knowledgeable about printing.

I suppose each store is different though...

I thought about asking the same thing not long ago.  I always figured Id get offers from members who were extremely new or overseas. Nothing against new members....I hsve minor trust issues and would just feel more comfortable getting stuff from an established member of the site.

 I tried 2 staples near me...no go.  I use standard paper (8 1/2  x 11) on my works fax/copy/printer

Laser is good for high volume, not for high quality color reproduction. If you really want to print your own covers, then there are plenty of sub-200 dollar inkjet printers that will do an excellent job. It's honestly more about the paper than anything with inkjet. I really can't stress this enough.

Laser is absolutely not worth the money for anyone just using it for personal things like these covers and whatnot.  Nobody in the print industry would ever recommend laser over inkjet for low-medium volume, and especially not personal use. Laser is just the step between offset and inkjet, when productions numbers are just a tad above what is feasible with inkjet but not enough to move up to offset.

i cannot agree more with the paper quality comment - up until recently i used predominantly regular, matt paper - mostly high GSM, but standard off the shelf.  Found some photo glossy 130 & 180  GSM cheap recently, and the print quality is through the roof - small text instantly readable, no bleed whatsoever.  I've fallen back in love with getting everything cased up.   And when you get decent quality prints, you appreciate even more the high quality standards we have on the site.

Before I forked up the cash for my own scanner/printer combo, I used the self serve printers at FedEx Office (formerly Kinkos). The people behind the counter where I live are definitely sticklers about copyright protection, but they never see what you do in their self serve section. Great thing about using them is after you've already printed them out through their printers, you can ask them to cut them out for you and they always do a great job! They have a semi-gloss legal sized paper that just made the printouts POP!

That's great guys, thanks for all the info. I just have a few games (compared to some collections) that I'd like to get cased up. Right now I'm just interested in a few gba/gb titles. Before I get too involved with this request, I gotta ask: Who lives in the US that would be willing to do it for me? I can pay whatever the shipping is+paper/ink used+labor and whatever else would be fair to get these guys done.
