Anyone own a Hyperkin Supaboy hand held SNES?!
Heilman11085:
Well I am taking 2 to 3 trips of 1000 miles before the end of the year so I was thinking of maybe buying a 3DS and I came across the Supaboy and it did look bad ass. But at $80 I don't think I will game on it.

If you're itching to play SNES on the go, then the PSP is what I recommend. It's actually portable, cheap, and you don't have to lug aroun carts.

I almost started this topic myself. Any more feedback is greatly appreciated :D
Dr.Agon:
you could always build your own;

guarenteed to be 100% compatible!

I think Bacteria is quite crafty, but two things really put me off.
1) the black tape around the edge of the whole thing and the fact that he straight up says that the power button doesn't always work and
2) This.
If you're interested, I can make similar portables with N64 or SNES or NES systems; £400-£430 depending on spec, plus postage, UK £15, non-UK £30. If you want NTSC, you'll need to provide suitable working screen and console; if a screen/console fries in the portable making process, you'll need to provide an extra unit.
Seriously?! That's a load of crap. He's already charging an insane amount of money for this, PLUS the customer must provide their own hardware PLUS, if he fucks it up, then it's all on that customer to replace the damaged part. I absolutely would NOT pay 625-675 dollars plus the cost of original hardware for such a poorly crafted toy.
