Getting my hands on a Vectrex in good condition in a couple days. Was checking around on the forums and doesnt look like anyone has undertaken any Vectrex boxes (or I could be blind) at any rate I tossed this template together that I will be using. SO figured I would share (Vectrex had pretty simple box art lol). This is not an exact reproduction I modified the logos slightly as I preferred a slightly different type set.

Let me know what you think =D

Looks pretty clean!

The only thing that seems off to me is the Vectrex logo on the spine. It runs the opposite way of pretty much every other template on the site and it's prohibitively large.  It's gonna overpower any game logo/title that's alongside it on the spine.  Just my .02

Looks great.  Vectrex is one of the systems I don't yet own.  Berserk looks lovely -  how badly do I need it?

When I was first considering buying one, the desire was purely impulse because I had never owned one before and seemed differant than atari. After I picked it up however, it was far beyond just different. It feels and looks like nothing else. The retro feeling you get from this when its actually in your hands is something unparalleled imo and the vector based graphic are extremely clear and gorgeous. I will say this though if you do not have the overlay for the games the experience is considerably cheapened. There is a couple guys around that make and sell reproductions for the overlays though. So if you can find one locally for a good price (under $100) grab it, they are solid gaming machines even after 30 years.

I saw a vectrex on Craigslist for $200 in my local area but that is waaaay too much for me to spend on a console with a small library. Too niche for the moment.
