Or maybe a better question would be how many UGCs have you used thus far?

There are 252 UGCs on my shelves right now with 22 more games to case. I've got 24 cases left of 300 total that I've purchased (some were broken in transit and a few have gone to other members in the form of doubles).  I placed a quote request for 600 more on Thursday (200 for me, and 400 for some folks down under).  Hopefully this next batch will last me a while. I think it's only been about 6 months since my 1st case arrived, which means I've been using 3.3 cases a DAY on average  :o

So, how many of these little bastards have you guys (& gals?) consumed so far?

Probably over 200.

I've got about 150 left and about 80 games left to case that this site has cover for.

I actually have the NES list dumped in excel and went through the site list updating a column for what games there are covers for so I just filter on that column and my cart owned column to see what games I have left to case.

I can't wait for the day where I am caught up and only have to case new stuff as I'm buying it.

I'm still debating on just ordering a bunch more and casing everything that doesn't have a cover yet and then adding covers as they become available.  I've got over 150 games that don't have covers yet but the setup may look wierd with a bunch of clear cases amongst all the ones with covers.

What do others do with UGC cased games where there is no cover?

Damn, Arseen!  I don't believe I've seen pics of your stash.  You mind sharing?

I have 55 cases use on console games, I have 5 as temporary homes for GB and GBC games, and I have 3 cases for accessories, Memory cards, Xbox Brake Away cables, and a Xbox/ GC/ PS2 to USB converter.

My snes collection is currently 135 carts (12 just recently acquired and need covered and cased), N64 currently stands at 27 all cased (can't see that growing much bigger) and i've used 1 on the Megadrive for Sonic & Knuckles. So 163 used and I have about 150 stored for future use.

I have 257 cased NES games with another 26 ready to print (which I'm in the process of printing as I type this), and UGCs cut out for those so once they've dried they'll be ready to go.  I try to modify about 5-10 a week so when I pick up a bunch of games in my once-a-month spending spree they'll be all ready to go and I don't have to case five at a time while the rest just sit there.  Plus I like to get at least 10 ready before I print so I don't burn through the ink on my printer's thirsty startup procedure.  I also have 33 cased SNES games (only one game remains uncased, Firepower 2000) and 29 N64.

I actually have the NES list dumped in excel and went through the site list updating a column for what games there are covers for so I just filter on that column and my cart owned column to see what games I have left to case.

I've done something similar, but I've also included covers that have been made that aren't on the site, like the handful that I've done and a lot of them that Akumu has posted.  My current count shows covers for 454/677 licensed NTSC NES games, or just over 67%.

Personally I just leave them in dust sleeves and stacked up on my shelf, and the manuals in a stack next to them.  I have a handful of the small rental-sized plastic cases I've gotten from various ebay purchases, but I only have the three rare(r) games I own that don't have cases sitting in there along with their manuals.  I've thought about making cases up for the games that don't have covers and sticking them on the shelf, but it looks butt-ugly to me so I just leave 'em loose and hope one day they get covers made.  :D

I tried casing cover-less SNES games for about a day. Two things; it sapped my motivation to make covers for them, and they looked like crap next to cased games :(

I've got... 83 (I think) in use right now, with no art in any of them yet. I'm experimenting with making my own cover style at the moment, but I might end up just using Wiggy's template if that doesn't work out.

Two of the cases in my order of 100 were damaged pretty badly in shipping (the box was falling apart at the seams when it arrived :-\), so I've got about 15 spares before I'll have to order more.

... Although for the moment I'm only casing my loose SNES, N64, and Genesis games. I would need another couple hundred cases and another bookshelf if I wanted to case my NES collection.

Hmm between SNES, N64 and GBA, only 45 so far since I have no ink in my printer, nor the money to print covers  ::)

All I have left is NES, Atari 2600 & Atari 7800, but I have enough UGC's around 70 to spare so it won't be a problem when I find the time and expense to get them done. Speaking of which I still have a few N64 games to get so, I'm good on cases.

Also I have to think about shelf space as well since, I'm pretty packed in my room right now. The good thing is I'm trading in alot of my DVD's to build my music collection, and I plan to buy the movies on Blu-Ray later so it opens up some space.

I actually don't have any UGCs at all.  Due to space limitations, I keep my collections fairly small.  About 17 PS1, 15 PS2, 39 PS3, and 75 Genesis, all of which are complete with original cases (about a dozen print out covers for the Genesis cases on the games which came in those cardboard boxes).  I actually just started to get into NES and plan on acquiring some SNES someday.  At some point, I'm sure those select few games will get UGCs and covers, but for now the handful of NES games I'm keeping just have the black plastic dust sleeves.
