I actually have a few posters that I've collected over the years and in the future I'm going to invest in a poster scanner to preserve them digitally and fix a few that are damaged by the sun over the years.

My question is how would I go about doing that, fixing sun damage in something like Photoshop? Also, how about fold lines, how would one take those out so that when I create a reproduction for myself they won't show up on the print?

yep in photoshop you can cover the fold lines actually the poster i posted before was very very folded.

Wow, it's really night and day when it comes to the restoration, I love when Colours pop from increased contrast and RGB values  :D

Any tips on what tools to use in Photoshop? Also did you use a regular scanner or a dedicated large format scanner?

Wow - nice uploads everyone :)  And thanks for the YS Art upload ^^^ :)  You sacrificed your book and 'took one for the team.'  How incredibly selfless of you!!! That was a really cool thing to do.
